Blockchain for Certification of Origin for products

The project is to create an end-to-end system to trace agricultural products from farm-to-fork  (from production, distribution up to the customer).

The project use-cases are to be applied first in Portugal with the fruit, meat, rice and cheese industries.

The production records for the goods as well as relevant supply-chain events and sensor data is stored in the blockchain to be later retrieved by the customer mobile application.

The customer can use a mobile application that scans a QR code that will retrieve and display the relevant information from the blockchain and display it in a human readable format in the application. This goes much beyond today’s applications which scan a QR code that redirects to a generic page of the producer rather than an item based data log.

Artificial Intelligence using Open Source LLMs

The aim of this project is to use available open source LLMs like Chat GPT-4 (Large Language Models) to create a self-hosted chatbot. Open source LLMs like Vicuna shall be used to train with proprietary data in an isolated server to create a chatbot to help users of Sensefinity use the system.

Artificial Intelligence applied to the logistics management

The aim of this project is to use available data in a big environment in order to improve operations in food and pharmaceutical logistic operations.

With the help of available data a classification algorithm shall be used to identify defective or malfunctioning refrigeration machines in the supply-chain.

Artificial Intelligence for impact detection

The aim of this project is to determine the most probable impact on a container based on the data provided by an impact sensor mounted on one side of the container.
