Insurance AI for supply-chain
The Insurance industry can leverage AI to better evaluate and predict risk to allow for better insurance policies. Data coming from IoT systems and oracles can be used to create supply-chain models that model risk and impact on the goods being transported.
Sensefinity uses AI to constantly learn and evalute risk of goods in transport, be it for the proper adaptation of the time of arrival of the goods as also the condition at which the goods will be arriving at their destination.
The project being proposed is geared towards using this data and AI algorithms to be able to better insure supply-chain operations. Its main goals are:
Survey of the existing Sensefinity AI and data-streams and first identification of enhancements.
State of the art analysis regarding risk models in use for insurance use-cases
Survey or risk models and usage of the proper risk model to model IoT based risk, e.g. temperature and humidity values which can impact the quality of perishable goods and improve using real-time data coming from IoT devices.
